Online Advertising: First PayPerPost Blogger Reaches Thousand Dollar Blog Advertising Milestone
PayPerPost.com, The World's First Consumer Generated Advertising Network, announced today that their first blogger has surpassed $1,000 in online advertising income. Colleen Caldwell of Tampa, Florida is the enterprising blogger to first reach the mark using the online advertising service on her blog http://www.simplekindoflife.com/. Colleen has been using the PayPerPost system for about seven weeks.
PayPerPost is a unique online advertising service that connects advertisers with bloggers to generate buzz, traffic and assist in link building. The company pays bloggers for their honest opinions about products and services sponsored by advertisers.
"I'd love to save it up and do something nice for my family - a big vacation, or something new for the house," said Caldwell. Colleen is currently on track to earn more than $6,000 this year from using the blog advertising service. Caldwell continued, "I used to run a parenting Web site and I am familiar with advertising online, CPMs, etc...and I hated having to depend on click-throughs or purchases to make any money." The PayPerPost model differs from other advertising models in that its impact and payment model isn't measured solely on clicks.
PayPerPost allows everyday bloggers to earn far more money with their blogs than other CPC or CPM based services such as Google AdSense. While typical bloggers can earn a few dollars a month with other programs, PayPerPost bloggers can earn several hundreds of dollars each month or more. This ability to generate significant income for everyday bloggers is a large draw for the PayPerPost model.
"We have fundamentally changed the game for non-"A-list" bloggers. They can finally make a decent income from blogging and we expect this number to get substantially larger over time", stated Ted Murphy, founder and CEO of PayPerPost. "Our bloggers are starting to realize the income they can generate from online advertising through PayPerPost and that has fueled a surge in registrations."
In addition to the financial benefits, bloggers also find themselves more apt to blog in general. "PayPerPost has influenced me to blog more without a doubt, and it's raised my excitement level about blogging again," said Caldwell. "I feel like my content overall has improved too. I want people to visit my blog and comment and enjoy what they read, or for it to spark discussion."
The PayPerPost service is still in Beta and can be accessed by advertisers and bloggers at PayPerPost.com.
