PayPerPost created the concept of Disclosure Badges and AdBubbles in order to assist Advertisers in adhering to our code of ethics and maximizing the click through rate for each post.
Disclosure Badge
A Disclosure Badge is a small graphical icon that is included within the body of the post. The Advertiser has control over the content of the badge and can specify the text that will appear on the graphic. For Example : "This Post Brought to You by ACME" or "Sponsored by ACME". Advertisers specify the destination URL of the badge, which creates another link to the advertisers site within the post. If you specify that you desire a Disclosure Badge the Blogger must include the badge in order to meet the requirements of the post. The Disclosure Badge provides the ultimate in transparency and for that reason we suggest that all Advertisers employ this free feature.
AdBubble
Advertisers that choose to require a Disclosure Badge may take advantage of our unique AdBubble technology for a nominal fee. The AdBubble allows an Advertiser to create controlled content that appears inline along with the user created content. When a user rolls over a Disclosure Badge it triggers an AdBubble which displays a photo, text description and links created by the advertiser (this is not a pop-up ad). AdBubbles provide the maximum amount of links and messaging inside the post.
